SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-established and growing automotive franchise group, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch & Training Manager to oversee branch operations while driving staff development and training excellence across the business.
POSITION INFO:
Role Overview:
This dual-role position combines operational leadership with training oversight. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day performance of the branch while designing, implementing, and monitoring training programs to ensure consistent service standards and operational efficiency across the franchise.
Responsibilities:
Branch Management:
- Oversee all daily branch operations, ensuring profitability and efficiency
- Drive sales performance and achieve revenue targets
- Manage stock control, inventory, and supplier relationships
- Ensure compliance with franchise standards and company policies
- Lead, motivate, and manage branch staff
Training & Development:
- Design and implement training programs for new and existing employees
- Conduct regular skills assessments and performance evaluations
- Ensure all staff are aligned with franchise systems, processes, and customer service standards
- Facilitate onboarding and continuous development initiatives
- Identify skills gaps and implement corrective training solutions
Reporting & Strategy:
- Prepare operational and training reports for senior management
- Contribute to business strategy and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor KPIs and implement action plans to improve performance
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a management role within the automotive or franchise industry
- Strong background in staff training, coaching, or facilitation
- Solid understanding of branch operations, sales, and customer service
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage both operational and training functions effectively
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant business systems
- Valid driver’s license
